Pursuing the best performance for bait finesse
in a lightweight body
The lightest model of Shimano bait reel that
thoroughly pursues the pitching performance
of a lightweight lure. Equipped with
the revolutionary spool & brake system "FTB",
it is a special design developed as a reel for bait finesse,
and accurate pitching to pinpoint can be done
more smoothly. In addition, the gear ratio
is set to 8:1 to improve the efficiency of reworking.
The weight of 130g is the lightest weight of Shimano bait reel. |

"FTB" originally developed by Shimano, by removing the brake unit from the spool,

Unitless spool
Eliminate the brake unit from the spool unit.
We realized the lightest spool in Shimano history
with no waste (spool weight excluding BB is 7.2g).
This enables a low trajectory approach
in pitching, which is the original usage
of bait finesse. |
Detachable magnet
At the time of shipment, a total of 6 magnets
are attached, 3 on each side. You can add up to
8 magnets by attaching the attached magnet.
It can also be used when casting lures
with extremely high air resistance or when seeking
maximum stability in strong winds. |
